Description: Hello Parks & Recreation Representative, I have been an active Boston resident utilizing Southie's Moakley Park/Saunder's Field lacrosse goals for some time now. I am requesting the City of Boston Parks & Recreation Services to also add a lacrosse goal(s) to the M St @ E 1st St Park/Field in South Boston. I have played Men's League field lacrosse throughout the city (including South Boston, Charlestown, East Boston, Mission Hill, Dorchester) so I know there is wide interest range from Boston's residents. Especially from the active 20-30 year-old range residents that play lacrosse, and i'm assuming youths would utilize the goals at this location as well! It would be just a location to shoot the lacrosse ball around and pass back & forth (not full field playing location since there are baseball fields on either side but there is a large fenced in grass space in between which is perfect).
