Wild Animal Issue

Description: A pack of coyotes have a possible din in the wooded area on Herman Street, Roxbury. Residents have seen and as many as 3-4 coyotes as recent as lastnite. But we’ve heard them frequently over the past few weeks! They’ve been observed in the morning all times and early and late evenings! Coyotes attempted to approach residents atleast twice. Residents have called Animal Control and BPD. Both said coyotes are protected unless they attack!! This is very unusual behavior for coyotes, siting around in the light not alarmed by people and hunting during the day!!! I heard the city removed a din on Fort Hill! I believe there is a din in our wood area!!! (Photos are from lastnite in the larger parking on Herman Street, Roxbury) Please advise!
