Date: October 1, 2026 Subject: URGENT: Unpermitted Overnight Jackhammering at MBTA Back Bay Clarendon St Bus Unpermitted, high-noise construction is currently taking place outside Back Bay Station along the Clarendon Street bus loop sidewalk. Tonight at 11:30 pm, Commodore Builders crews—supervised by a foreman in a yellow reflector vest—were documented jackhammering and drilling directly on the sidewalk. The noise is severe and neighbors cannot sleep. Halt Operations: Order Commodore Builders to stop all overnight jackhammering and drilling immediately so neighbors can sleep. Restrict Hours: Restrict all high-decibel sidewalk work strictly to standard daytime hours. Immediate intervention is required.
