- Description
- There are multiple cross walks that desperately need more visible signage and/or a pedestrian crosswalk sign in the middle of the road on Metropolitan Avenue between Washington and Poplar in Roslindale. Cars really fly by, particularly towards the top of the hill, and pedestrians are often ignored even while in the painted walk. There are two daycares on that street between those two intersections and children walking to the nearby George Conley Elementary, and a growing number of families with young children in the area, making this a serious safety issue for children in particular.
