Description: Street light for Green St at Centre St in Jamaica Plain is not turning green long enough. 5 seconds is not enough. Traffic is backed up for blocks, only 1-2 cars are getting through the light to turn onto centre st. When they do, they drive too slowly out of caution from all the people around, or because they have to wait for people to finish crossing the street. Those are all difficult for the city to change, but you can change the programming of the traffic light so more can get through. Even better; please modernize the lights at that intersection, please reduce the size of the bike lane so two lanes can actuallly function. Also please remove the patio space on green st that forces a one lane zone when two lanes could exist along with a more reasonably wide bike lane
