Description: Install manually activated flashing pedestrian alert signs at the crosswalk on Hyde Park Ave at Patten St. photo of the Washington St set for comparison. Even with no other modifications lights would make a difference but I also advocate for daylighting and safety island extensions. These lights would also be effective at Hyde Park Ave and Eldridge and likely several others along the corridor. These recommendations have been made by various community groups.
