Description
Following recent gas utility work, a section of the roadway was excavated and patched with asphalt. Unfortunately, the patch was not finished flush with the surrounding pavement, leaving a pronounced raised lip and abrupt change in elevation. Vehicles must slow down considerably to cross this section of roadway, and the uneven surface creates a potential hazard, particularly for vehicles with low ground clearance and for cyclists. I am requesting that the roadway be inspected and the asphalt patch properly leveled to provide a smooth transition with the existing pavement.
