Description: – Illegal Parking, Bus/Bike Lane Obstruction, Excessive Noise, and Public Safety Hazard Location: Outside Alex’s Pizza, South End, Boston, MA Date: Friday, October 16, 2026 Time: 10:29 PM At approximately 10:29 PM, a vehicle associated with Alex’s Pizza was illegally parked in the designated bus/bike lane, obstructing an MBTA bus. The bus driver was forced to repeatedly sound the horn for over two minutes because the illegally parked vehicle’s driver refused to move out of the bus/bike lane. This incident caused excessive and unnecessary noise in a residential neighborhood during nighttime hours, disrupted public transportation, and created safety concerns for cyclists, bus passengers, pedestrians, and other motorists. This is part of an ongoing pattern of illegal parking, obstruction of public transportation, and noise disturbances outside Alex’s Pizza. Photographic evidence is attached, showing the vehicle obstructing the designated bus/bike lane and the MBTA bus directly behind it. I request enforcement of parking and traffic regulations at this location, including ticketing and towing of vehicles illegally obstructing the bus/bike lane, to prevent further disturbances and protect public safety.
