Description
The traffic lights at the intersection of Western Ave and Leo Birmingham Pkwy frequently leave vehicles stopped for several minutes, during which drivers often play extremely loud music directly beneath residents' windows. This is particularly disruptive at night, and we have repeatedly been awakened at 3 or 4 a.m. by music coming from vehicles waiting at the light. Besides reviewing traffic signal timing, I’m asking the city to consider installing a simple courtesy sign reminding drivers that this is a residential area and asking them to keep noise to a minimum.
