Description: Cars running red light on Maffa Way while pedestrian crosswalk signal is open on Rutherford ave. This results in pedestrians having to wait to cross Rutherford until all cars that have illegally run the red light drive through the crosswalk, often resulting in pedestrians waiting so long that the pedestrian crosswalk signal closes by the time it’s safe to cross. As you can see in the picture, the crosswalk signal is open and two cars are crossing through it after running the red coming south on Maffa Way. A pedestrian is waiting on the other side. Crosswalk signal either needs to be delayed to allow cars to run the red light, or camera should be installed to ticket cars that run the red light and drive through the crosswalk.
