To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report an ongoing, excessive noise disturbance caused by public transit vehicles in my area. The volume of the noise is highly disruptive to daily life and sleep. Please find the specific details of the disturbance below: • Location of Noise: [East Eight Street to East Broadway. • Vehicles Involved: [Examples: MBTA Buses, Trucks, Commuter Rail Engines and the MBTA Trains. • Type of Noise: Screeching brakes, heavy engine roaring and speeding. • Primary Times of Disturbance: [Examples: Llate nights between 12 AM and 2 AM, or continuously throughout the twilight. This persistent noise is impacting the quality of life and well-being of the residents at this location. I request that the appropriate maintenance or operations team inspect the vehicles and infrastructure at this location to determine if brake replacements, track grinding, or stricter idling enforcement can mitigate the issue.
