- Recurring fire hydrant (76-78 Litchfield) and driveway obstruction (78 Litchfield) by a vehicle— enforcement requested. A blue Toyota RAV4, Minnesota plate PKD624, is obstructing clearance of the fire hydrant and the driveway entrance at 78 Litchfield Street. Boston Traffic Rules and Regulations, Article IV, Section 1(7), prohibit parking in front of a driveway and within two feet on either side. Please also check compliance with the nearby fire hydrant’s ten-foot clearance requirement under Section 1(6). This location has experienced repeated parking obstructions involving multiple vehicles, and this vehicle has returned after previously moving. Please dispatch parking enforcement. Follow-up enforcement would also be greatly appreciated because this problem keeps recurring. Thank you very much for your assistance.
