- About 12 parking spots on Sheridan Street in Jamaica Plain are marked "no parking" for sidewalk repair. The dates on the signs are from 11/5 to 11/19. Today is 11/6, so this has now been in effect for 1.5 days. Zero work has started yet. This is far too many parking spots on a very high demand street to be needlessly taken away was residents. If work was happening there'd be no issue. And I understand today is rainy, but it was beautiful all day yesterday and the repair crew never even showed up.
