- I unfortunately was witness to a heroin overdose last highly on Father Gilday Street in the South End around 9:30p on my way home from dance lessons with my wife. Thankfully I am MD and some one had narcan so we were able to revive the patient and get EMS on the scene for assistance. However, when I was leaving for work this morning around 6:30a, I walked by the scene and there numerous uncapped needles and debris from the crew. Any chance we can get this cleaned up. I don’t mind saving lives, but I’d prefer to not have my neighbors kids and dogs stepping on needles. Also, Father Gilday has some pretty dark spots on account of dim street lighting. Possibly getting those revamped could help keep people from using those spots as a makeshift drug den. Much appreciated.
