New / Modified Sign Request

Opened: Nov 7, 2026, 1:03 PM1h ago
Description: At the intersection of Market Street and Faneuil Street in Brighton (at the Scub-a-Dub car wash) the “right turn only” sign in the right lane needs to be posted earlier on that block. Traffic is always backed up here, and by the time cars see the sign at the stop light, it’s too late; they are now stuck in the wrong lane. Daily, I see cars realizing at the last second that they need to merge into the left lane to continue straight, and it becomes an aggressive and chaotic game of chicken when the light turns green. Someone is going to get seriously injured here.
