- Noise. New England Indonesian Festival, permitted for an event on the Parage Ground from 11 to 5, has been playing loud music since a little after 8 AM. On a Sunday morning. To an empty park. This event has been highly disruptive every year, wildly loud, and has never been responsive to community concerns. It is absurd that it was given a permit again after all the known problems. They are doing it again, and again, the city is not supervising them properly. A Parks ranger is milling around on the corner instead of telling them to shut the noise off. This event should be shut down immediately, and the people who permitted it should understand what a middle finger to our community it was to permit this known public nuisance yet again.
