  • Illegal Parking

5 7 Hart Pl, South Boston, Ma, 02127

Car has been parked at end of street for 12 days. Hasn’t moved at all. Just wondering if it’s legally parked. It’s a dead end street. Owner does not reside on this street. If it’s properly registered, permitted etc. then cancel complaint. Parking is always at a minimum in neighborhood as we have Sal’s Restaurant and L St. tavern five houses away and cars coming and going are never-ending. Thank you for any assistance.

  • Needle Cleanup

    58 60 E Springfield St, Roxbury, Ma, 02118

I'm used to needles all over the neighborhood but this is a bridge too far. Needle in the middle of my goddamn front steps?? How is this ok? I was tired coming home and almost stepped on it. It's capped thank God but still. Honest question: what would the mayor do if she had needles on her front steps? This is ridiculous.

  • Rodent Activity

52 Hecla St, Dorchester, Ma, 02122

Rodents everywhere around property, the rodents are living underground underneath front porch holes all around front of house and under trash barrels. Theres kids that live around this neighborhood. The owner did nothing but cut the grasses.

  • Illegal Parking

57 Condor St, East Boston, Ma, 02128

Please enforce resident parking on Condor street in East Boston. It’s getting harder & harder for residents to park. There are cars currently parked with no resident parking stickers, out of state license plates, commercial vehicles etc. and should be ticketed. Also lately there looks like lots of body shop repair cars are also being parked on the street. Thank you.

  • Code Enforcement Collection

    Colliston Rd & Kilsyth Rd

FOLLOW-UP to case #BCS-00253677, which was closed as "resolved" only because DPW collected the trash. The underlying violation was never inspected or addressed, and the same condition is back one week later. Location: 71-75 Kilsyth Rd, Brighton, MA 02135 (apartment building, managed by Chestnut Hill Realty). Photo taken this evening, the night BEFORE collection day, so the condition is visible now. Current violations visible in the photo: 1. Barrels are overflowing with lids propped open and trash spilling out (Art. 23, Sec. 8 — overfilling; property owner/manager is responsible for providing adequate barrels for tenants). 2. Numerous loose bags piled on the ground and sidewalk outside any container (Art. 23, Sec. 5 — trash must be stored in a barrel with a tight-fitting lid). 3. Cardboard boxes being used as trash containers, which is not permitted. 4. A discarded mattress left at the curb. Mattresses must be scheduled for collection and cannot be placed out with regular trash. This happens every single collection week. Animals tear the loose bags open overnight and scatter trash across the sidewalk and street, which is a hazard to children and dogs and an ongoing rodent attractant. I am requesting a code enforcement inspection of the property and a citation to the owner/manager — not another DPW pickup. A pickup does not fix a recurring violation. Please have an inspector visit in the evening before collection or early in the morning before the truck arrives, when the condition is present. I am happy to provide dated photos from multiple weeks.
