In order for the City of Boston's Urban Forestry Division to ensure the success of our new street trees, we require the property owner who directly abuts the sidewalk where the new pit and tree are being requested to be involved in the conversation about a new tree. Therefore, we ask that any New Tree Request for a new pit and tree comes from the actual abutting property owner, and then we can then inspect that location for tree planting. If you know the property owner of this address, you can ask them to submit a New Tree Request with their contact information and we will be able to inspect the location and discuss any questions that may arise. New Tree Requests can be made via the 311 app, by calling 311, or by contacting the Urban Forestry Division by sending an email to trees@boston.gov or calling 617-635-8733. The best way to get information about Boston's street trees is by going to boston.gov/trees and reading about how to properly request a new street tree, to submit tree maintenance requests, and learn how to care for young street trees. Street Light Outage
9 Moon St 11, Boston, MA 02113Both lights have been out next to St Johns School for over a month at Sun Court St and Moon St in North End. Pitch black and very dangerous at night. Multiple reports have been submitted. The lights remain out. Please fix. Thank you.

40 Gove St, 1, East Boston, Ma, 02128Constituent reports water damage, mold, and structural issues due to a porrly sealed/unsealed window in their apartment. Constituent states that the window is a large bay window, and that water damage has rotted the surrounding wood, causing dangerous structural issues, even to the point of the wall moving when it is pushed on. Constituent states that they don't have a contact for property management, and has been trying to go through the realtor they rented this unit from in the mean time.
