Tents dug use and drinking in public everyday now...still they are allowed to swear and yell at people going about there businesses. On the Common side of Boylston St. |

I know you are all very busy and thank you for all of the efforts. On the corner of Boylston St and Tremont in the Common there is multiple tents popped...looks like the early stages of a tent city. It's been removed before but they keep setting it up. Thank u for any assistance with this!

And not just tents, campers and trucks. Really? We are even pretending we didn't notice they were camping on the Common?

Weed fest campers. Day3! I fail to understand why hemp fest people need to be camping on the Common. The tents that are still up (these pictures were taken between 6:45-7:15 this morning) in the park have no merchandise in them. The campers are no where near them anyway. Why would we allow people to set up a campsite, park their cars, trucks and campers on the grass and sleep there. I thought this was a 1 day permit. This is now day 3.

Church group blocking access for general public to get around also enabling homeless to trash the park with whatever they are handing out. Group is there every Sunday from noon to about 3pm, they also set up a tent on days of rain next to brewers fountain. During the summer they impede the usage of public tables and benches taking away from the public to enjoy. |

Clr is very upset and concerned that the NEMC has set up a large triage tent on street and not allowing access to Washington St or area residents. Happens a few times and Clr feels that NEMC has a large parking facility across street on Washington St and they should use that and not cause an inconvenience for residents. Clr wanted to complain that at approximately 7:45AM he was walking along Boston Common when a temporary tent structure set up near the Park St T Station blew over and knocked him down. He was told to submit claim with City Clerk's Office for dry cleaning reimbursement he is seeking. Clr upset that he has to bother with that but at the very least wanted P&R maintenance aware that the tents throughout the Common all look like they are not secured properly and may be at risk of blowing over as well. Feels they should be inspected for proper securement due to the high winds. 9:20AM I notified Greg @ P&R and he verified that he spoke to this person and referred him to CC office. He also notated the tent concern and doesn't think P&R set them up but will have the structures checked. | SR Type: [Inspection] SR Area: [Design & Construction]
