Intersection Of Canterbury St And American Legion Hwy, Roslindale, MaPedestrians, which includes many school children per day attending Brooke High School, are simply not safe at this intersection. Commuters are itchy and gun it through the intersection without any regard for crosswalks once they have a green light for a right turn, or will swing up through a left so fast they don’t even think to look for pedestrians. I’ve also been honked at and harassed by drivers angry at me when I’m crossing with the signal. It’s clear a good portion of the drivers have no idea that not every crosswalk is an all way cross, and this intersection would be better off if no drivers were mobile when everyone crosses the road, which is dark for the start and end of the school’s operating hours. This intersection NEEDS an all-way cross, WAY more signage, or someone is going to get hurt or worse, and it will be entirely the fault of the city for allowing this to continue. |

General Traffic Engineering Request
Intersection Of Massachusetts Ave And Newbury St, Boston, MaConstituent wanted to flag that the mentioned intersection is not necessarily safe for pedestrians. Constituent stated that the cars are not waiting by the white line to allow pedestrians to cross and even when persons are crossing the cars are inching towards them because they don't want to wait. Constituent stated that the pedestrian signal counts down and as soon as it hits zero the light goes green for the cars and they don't even want to wait if someone is almost done crossing the street. Constituent is suggesting that there is a few seconds between the pedestrian signal ending and the light going green. |

Damaged Sign
Intersection Of Massachusetts Ave And Boylston St, Boston, MaCross walk displays walk sign when traffic is trying to turn right onto Boyleston St with a green light. It is extremely unsafe and frustrating to pedestrians and drivers. Can all lights be red and have all cross walks go at the same time during each light cycle? It would make traffic flow much quicker and safer for everyone. This is a common problem at ma y I tersections, but this is particularly unsafe.
