Pigeon Infestation
I live in apartment 411. My windowsill has been overloaded with pigeons since June 2024 and my management office will do nothing about it. All they’ve done is clean it, just for the pigeons to be back an hour later, and they’ve only cleaned it twice in the 8 months I’ve reached out. I haven’t opened my windows since, I’ve been sick a lot more, they don’t care. I have a 3 year old and outside our windows is a mess of bird poop. It’s disgusting and unsanitary. Not to forget that they have a habit of fighting, so we hear their wings hitting our windows and they make whatever noise pigeons make to talk to each other. I haven’t seen them with the cold in about 2 weeks, but the management office is not doing anything about cleaning and prevention. |

Pigeon Infestation
The tunnel connecting Congress to A Street in Fort Point neighborhood is filled with pigeons and the sidewalks are covered in pigeon excrement. Many tourists use the sidewalk to access the steps to Summer Street. The birds still perch there and get trapped and killed, left on display in the wire netting. It is disgusting and a health hazard. They also removed our pretty lights that Mayor Menino had put up. A beautiful mural has been installed in Seaport at the intersection of I-90 and Congress by 400 Summer Street. Their sidewalk is pristine. The solve is to put a thin wire on the remaining rockwall where the birds perch. A mural and/or putting the lights back is in order as well. |

Pigeon Infestation
We have pigeons (I think 3) living on the porch patio up on a crossbeam. We have contacted our property management numerous times now and they still haven't come to address the issue. I bought spikes to put up, but I'm unable to reach and don't have a ladder to reach. Could you please help with removing the pigeons? They keep pooping on the patio and it has been unusable for over 2 months now |

Pigeon Infestation
Since netting was installed under the Summer Street overpass above A Street a few weeks ago, the pigeons that roost under the bridge have changed habits: they now roost on the rough-hewn granite block edges of the walls that hold the bridge up (continuing to release copious droppings onto the sidewalks on both sides of the A Street) and sit on the stone detail edges of 327 A Street (more droppings) and on the parapets of 326 and 328 A Street (more droppings). I don't think this reporting tool allows photo attachments (the street cleaning one does) but happy to provide them by email if you'd like to see the extent of the problem...). |
