Illegally parked every day! Why can’t the city repeatedly ticket them. The city definitely needs money. They should be ticketed every half hour. If I parked there I’d get a ticket!

The issue # 101006601741 has been reported this morning at 9:56 AM, and by now, it mysteriously disappeared. (See the screenshot.) Repeating it here: Repeated off hours construction on Saturdays - without off hours construction permit. It has been happening for many weeks. The last off-hours permit for this site was issued in January. 38 Roseway St, JP. Today they have been digging ground with an excavator from 7:49 AM. They have been doing construction work for the entire day, and, it looks like, nobody came to check for this violation. By now, most of the work is stopped, and the excavator is removed (only one box truck is still parked on site). Is someone at the City covering up? The earlier (01/03/26) report from someone - #101006435878 was closed in late January with "noted": https://311.boston.gov/tickets/101006435878 and the construction work was going on Saturdays throughout March. This is a repeated violation of the City of Boston Municipal Code ordinance 16-26.4 that the ISD ignores.

6 cars all parked in the bus lane, right across from city hall. The bus lane is not a parking lane. Seems like one car parked illegally, then another and another until it was all parking.

Congress street in front of the City Hall, there’s always plenty of cars double parked on the bus/bike lane, everyday, everytime, even when they don’t need to, just scrolling their phones inside their cars looking for orders/passengers, while congesting the road, being inconsiderate and inconvenient for cyclists and bus drivers.

Section of sidewalk is missing entirely. It was taken out as part of the process of replacing a utility pole. It has been missing for more than 3 years-- this repair is very overdue. I have requested this same repair here on Boston 311 multiple times now, over the course of more than a year, and each time the outcome has been the same: the case gets closed, without the repair getting done, and without any indication of when it will be scheduled. Initially there was also back and forth about whether the city or the utility company is responsible, but long ago the city accepted responsibility and said it will do the repair. It just won't say when it will do it, then closes the case. I've been patient and I've been reasonable and I've been polite. It's time to prioritize and do this simple repair! Do not close this case again without doing the repair, and also without giving any indication when you will do it!

Can we get a bike path that runs parallel to the highways so people can bike to work instead of drive?

It would be really nice at the city of Boston would pick up its own street signs that are broken. Somebody had to move it onto private property so nobody would trip over. It's been reported for over a month now and nobody has picked it up. It's not that dangerous to step on the dirt and pick it up.

This particular manhole cover is a ongoing Public Nuisance to the area of 541, 540 and 556 Columbia Road. Due to the fact this eversource manhole cover is raised from the street, every time a large empty capacity dump truck, Little dump truck, any vehicle that has empty trailers or trailers attached hit this raised eversource manhole cover the noise that radiates has been extremely loud and disturbing. It is constant it is causing extreme Public Health and great diminishment of Quality of Life in the area. There are multiple people who suffer from PTSD, including but not limited to An AMERICAN VETERAN, myself and others. There has been multiple 311 complaints submitted on this issue and multiple complaints/tickets submitted to eversource to rectify this issue.
