Illegal Parking
332 Tremont St, Boston, Ma, 02116Where’s all the resident parking spots? Come home and no parking spaces on Tremont, Marginal road, Washington and Oak street! This has to stop especially on weekends. City of Boston has to start ticketing and towing just like they do for street cleaning on residents.

101 Arch St, Boston, Ma, 02110Please get a crew to head over to Downtown Crossing and fix this blown out part of the wall that you’ll see on the right side of the path leading to the long escalator up to Hawley St from the Red Line. I’ve been walking by this for a long time now. Does the city/MBTA not do walkthroughs of these stations? This is embarrassing. Please fix it. Thank you | Case (SR) Type: [MBTA] Referred To: [MBTA]

Is there any fiscal responsibility left at City Hall? | Case (SR) Type: [Elections and Voting] Referred To: [ELECTION DEPARTMENT]

251 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, Ma, 02116Hello, I was woken up at 9am this morning after going to bed at 3am after a 14 hour workday being told if I did not move my car from the construction zone, it would be towed. The only problem is, I WAS NOT IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE. The relevant permit is GCU-1826993. This is for a crane. I was parked OUTSIDE THE SIGNS they posted to reserve their space. Well, even though their crane fit, they wanted more space. Why is the Boston Police acting as the personal parking police for for-profit corporations who fail to follow simple permitting and signage rules? Why are the police enforcing against residents, and not against the company that personally posted the signs and decided they didn't reserve enough space? This entire interaction is inverted - we follow the rules to leave them the parking space even when we can't find a spot, but it doesn't matter if they follow the rules because they can do whatever they want with the police's help? I would like a written response explaining the city's policy and police enforcement actions when a contractor has either failed to post signage, or needs more space than the signage they posted allows. Is there a 24 hour rule or is there not? Why did the police allow the contractor to make it up as they go this morning, and walk to my apartment to order me to move my car? (Which even they admit they didn't want to, and shouldn't have to, do.
