POSTING AGAIN BECAUSE LAST REPORT WAS DIRECTED TO POLICE WHO INFORMED ME THEY CAN NOT HELP: Noise outside the park plaza is simply unbearable. Protestors are using football stadium band drums and horns so loud you would think they are air raid sirens. The protesters have every right to protest, but the manner by which they are allowed to protest is completely beyond any reasonable allowance. Who has the power to control this? Is it a city judge? The hotel workers strike continues to increase in size and noise. Starting early in the morning it is disrupting my family’s ability to sleep and also causing issues for me to effectively do my job throughout the day as I work from home. I hold zoom meetings throughout the day and clients often complain about the background noise. Please do something to end this strike and restore some peace and quiet for the residents in this neighborhood. Park Plaza bike lane needs better seperation. Drivers park here frequently at night when enforcement is less common. Additional flexposts may help, but cement or curb seperation would be far better and still allow sidewalk plow access.
