1667 fire alarm is knocked over 1667 Hyde park ave ***** BFD notified at 1:51pm | Case (SR) Type: [Fire Department Issues] Referred To: [FAIR HOUSING AND EQUITY]

Hi My name is Katie and I live near E 6th street and N street in Southie. I am reaching out to you because today I was passing through the Seaport which is about a mile from where I live and I was absolutely shocked to find there is barely any snow to be seen here. Even the dirt amongst the planted trees doesn't have a speck of snow visible. In stark contrast, South Boston has been an absolute mess and still is. On Sunday, a whole week after the storm, I saw an elderly woman crossing E 5th and L street at a traffic light intersection and she had to be helped by 4 people and another person carrying her walker. There are hardly an clear pathways into sidewalks from the crosswalks at majority of the intersections. Also, many of the streets like E 1st and L street which are "snow emergency" and should be well cleared have so much snow that cars are either unable to park there or the parked cars are so far into the roads these major roadways are barely 2 lanes and often times single passing. This seems very dangerous and pointless for this "snow emergency". Last time I checked the Seaport and Southie are both in Boston. How is there such a drastic difference in the snow removal process between these two neighborhoods?? Can you please address this???? Thanks |

Illegally parked vehicle!

Close passing a cyclist while hiding the license plate number is probably illegal. Where do l report this? | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]

Car parked in pedestrian walkway!

Snow-blocked intersection

Please tow the two cars on Charles Street south, blocking plows

The traffic patterns and lines are very confusing at Arlington passing past Boylston through Stuart. People don’t know if they should be following the lane lines or just go straight ahead. It’s dangerous.

Please give BTD resources and assistance with their work so that residents can park. Residents would appreciate it. See ticket #101006444419 (418 East Fifth Street, one of countless repeat offenders): "Audi with out of state Maryland plate 1ET2870 parked in resident only parking all of last week and has not moved since. Vehicle behind it has been ticketed but not this non resident. It is not okay for this driver to receive preferential treatment as they have since last year." The City can easily look up the other reports about this vehicle alone which have gone ignored.
