Space savers on street

These two cars are continuing to use space savers. They have them there whenever they leave. I moved them to park and they took them back. One of them is now blocking a driveway.

I would like to report that a resident on my street keeps placing a cone on a public parking space in front of or next to their home to prevent others from parking there. As far as I understand, public street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless there are official city restrictions or permits posted. I am requesting that this situation be looked into to determine whether the cone is authorized and, if not, that appropriate action be taken. This situation could easily lead to unnecessary arguments or conflicts between neighbors, so it would be better if the appropriate authorities could speak with this person directly. Constituent reports 2 cones being used to regularly save parking spaces in front of 22 Drayton Ave. Constituent states that the cones are usually seen out there at least between 3pm-5pm, so that would be the best time for removal. |
