Constituent bought 2 bottles of 5 gallon water from Stop and Shop and she had to pay a $9 deposit for the bottles. The constituent wanted to stop getting water from them and they refused to return the $9 deposit that was initially given. The constituent brought the bottles back and they stated that they cannot give the money back. Constituent would like someone to look into this. He is contacting the customer and she will receive her money back. they are trying to figure out who is responsible for the refund since poland springs is who services the water station in the store. We explained they are at the current time since Stop and Shop is providing this service to their customers.

This particular dispensary does, in fact, have a $40 minimum for purchases. This condition pre-dates the BCB so we're not entirely certain if this condition was negotiated as part of the community process or not.

CLOSED #101004622131Case Resolved. We performed a price verification inspections. We scanned 100 items they had 7 errors. One undercharge and 6 overcharges the store will be fined $1200. If possible the consumer can call us directly at 617-635-5328 with any other issues. When overcharged with a specific item we can do a spot inspection.
