CLOSED · #101006010593Noted. For the BPRD to utilize a donated tree it needs to be 1.5” in caliper and 6ft tall or greater. Most trees from the Arbor Day foundation are .25” caliper and 1ft tall. Small trees like this need to be kept in a nursery for years to become established enough to plant in a park. If you have any more questions please contact trees@boston.gov thank you.

All of Martins Park seems incredible over grown. Can you tell me where I can find the plans for the park? It's very difficult to watch children because of all the dense vegetation and I can only imagine how many rats are living in all this growth.
