Trash outside attracting rats, bugs, smells into tenant's window. FINDING THE ADDRESS: Address is 86 Charles Street, but the trash bins are located in the BACK of the building on Mt Vernon Sq in Public Alley 301, in between 6 Mt Vernon Sq and 10 Mt Vernon Sq. You will see the trash cans and a black door with "86" on it. NOTE: New owners took over in November. This building is now owned by CEIRE 86 Charles located on Lincoln Street. Owners are Christopher & Kristen Christian. It is managed by Suffolk Property Management. Owner is John Babiarz, 90 Canal St/Boston . __ ISSUE: landlord has issued an official document by City of Boston Inspectors Office to clean up trash situation.

Trucks parked illegally at the end of street

"No parking" signs improperly posted. Signs posted without permit number and no active permit can be found in city of Boston street occupancy permit search. A permit is listed for April 13th through April 22nd, which does not align with the dates posted on the signage. Additionally, the future permit is for 32-34 orkney road but signs are posted on both sides of the street. Construction crew is actively working.

It’s rather comical at the amount of illegal parked vehicles in South Boston yet no PEO to be seen until street cleaning , what’s up with that ??? But yet up the taxes and get half the services

Been years like this and no one will provide the Basic City Service of resurfacing bike lanes. You didn't even do it before new lanes were installed (and gone are the days now) unless you were repaving the whole street anyway. This creates 2 terrible choices for someone on a bike: veer into traffic or ride through a 3" deep hole.

Love being stuck in car traffic and encouraged to drive because the mayor has stopped improvements AND made worse the bike lanes we had. Theyre effectively removed when you remove all the separation. This mayor is awful.

You removed the posts. You're very clearly not providing the basic maintenance or working on improving separation. Such a hollow, boilerplate response to others' reports. You wouldn't remove the posts until you were prepared to install the replacement if that were really your aim. And you would be transparent about your plans with proactive communication. Instead you're steamrolling the community. Put the posts back. We're in danger!!!
