Around 8:00 a.m. on April 15, 2026, I was walking near the public bus stop at the intersection of L Street and East Broadway in South Boston when I saw a large utility/service truck turn from L Street onto East Broadway. As it turned, the truck struck a parked black Hyundai SUV, knocking the vehicle’s front bumper completely off and leaving it on the street in front of the car. The truck continued on and parked a short distance away, and the driver then walked into a nearby Starbucks. I do not believe the driver realized they had hit the parked car. I took several photos of the damaged Hyundai, the displaced bumper, and the truck, including the truck’s license plate number (X37910). Constituent reports that the construction crew working at 177 F St placed a camera on the street sign across the street from the site. States it looks into her home, requests it is removed. | Public safety sign: [No] Is the pole still there: [Yes]

Thankfully no damage to my car so I won't file an official police report but I do want to file a public report so that someone is aware, and if possible, reach out to this individual. This type of parking is NOT OKAY. If the space is to small to park appropriately, they need to find another spot. This occured right next to the new hotel they're building on Porter Street in East Boston.

There is a public faucet / waterline that has been open and running at full pressure for several days and cannot be turned off manually. Many have tried and it won't turn off. Needle in front of 59 E. Springfield

113 Chandler Street has a tree and fire hydrant in front. The tree roots have disrupted loads of the bricks. Many are missing taken by who knows. Many are floating around. The trash fellows have a hazardous mine field to navigate as much trash is put out in this open space. It is practically impossible to shovel snow with loose and protruding bricks. I feel it is a public hazard at this point. Wonder if we can please get some help? Thanks for considering
