  • Constituent states that red line train cart # 01865 is without AC and extremely hot | Case (SR) Type: [MBTA] Referred To: [MBTA]

  • Constituent reports, I wholeheartedly embrace use of public transportation. When attempting to do so Monday 5/6 @ 3:50 pm @ Natick Center, I missed the commuter rail to Boston when it mysteriously arrived on Track 1 (which said Outbound Natick Center) and not on Track 2 (which clearly said Inbound Boston). A man waiting on my side of the tracks saw my confusion and said at 2:30 the tracks change. Of course, there was no employee there to ask a question and this was my first time attempting to take the commuter rail from Natick, as I live in Saugus. A sign would have been extremely helpful! The train operator must have seen my frantic race to make it to the other side and still left me standing there. My alternatives were to wait for the next train, which would not arrive for an hour, or take an Uber, which I did, at a cost to my daughter since this senior citizen did not have the app. Then yesterday, I received an alert @ 4 pm that the Blue Line had 25 minute delays because of a signal problem @ Orient Heights. Add that to the Red Line busing and it's just another day in paradise trying to commute in Boston. | Case (SR) Type: [MBTA] Referred To: [MBTA]

This is a follow up to my unanswered emails to: - Mayor Michelle Wu -Chief of Staff Tiffany Chu -Chief of Operations Dion Irish -Senior Advisor Christopher Osgood -Senior Advisor for Community Safety Isaac Yablo Just wanted to circle back because I am still very concerned that when I called 911 it took at least 90 seconds to reach someone, if not 2 minutes. I initiated the call when the light was still red at Perkins & Jamaicaway. I got a callback at the light at Centre & Creighton. That’s almost exactly .5 miles during 3pm traffic. Fortunately, I have only had to call 911 two times in my life....but I do recall the first time was call was answered immediately (within the first 2 or 3 rings). Is 90+ seconds the n<truncated>
