Illegal dumping and trash accumulation near a elementary school where children play. Area contains scattered plastic waste and debris, posing public health and safety risks (rodents, injury hazards). Request urgent cleanup and monitoring to prevent further dumping.

Construction workers are repeatedly parking in the fire lane in front of access gates to I95. The access is used for emergencies and MDOT for maintenance. Which isn’t often but irritating that people are knowingly using the space as parking for their day’s construction work at 5 Putnam, Charlestown. Many people pull a car into the space for a temporary period of time (15-20 minutes) while they are near the area but never for extended periods. Often the car owner isn’t available to move their vehicle or even on site if there is need to move. I hope this can be enforced during the duration of the contractors work. Ironically the site has an unusually large area (for a city home) that the vehicles can be contained within the property.

Trash dumped on empty lot owned by Arcadia Management. This is an ongoing issue where trash is dumped here all the time. Arcadia does not maintain their property in a responsible, neighborly manner

There has been an ongoing rodent infestation in the ceiling/walls of my apartment unit for approximately 6 months. A rodent has made its way into the apartment as well. I hear constant loud scratching, running, and gnawing noises in the ceiling, especially at night, and the problem has significantly worsened over time. I am also concerned about possible droppings, contamination, and damage inside the ceiling/walls due to the length of the infestation. The landlord has been notified multiple times over the past 6 months. Although I have been told that pest control companies have been contacted, the infestation has not been resolved and the rodent activity has only increased. This is affecting my ability to sleep and safely live in the apartment. I am requesting an inspection of the building/unit for an active rodent infestation, including the ceiling and wall spaces, and enforcement requiring the landlord to fully eliminate the infestation and seal all entry points. Unfortunately it won’t let me upload videos here- we have multiple videos of the rodents scratching/gnawing in the ceiling. We also have a video of the rodent in the apartment.

Rats

Trash on the ground in front of the barrels at 57 Blue Hill Ave . Please cite owner. We are complaining all the time about rats. We need the City’s help with requiring these owners to keep their properties clean. 🐀
