We are unfortunately unable to plant at new tree at this location due to conflicts with existing infrastructure such as underground utilities. In order to plant a new street tree we require 5-10' of clearance from all underground utilities and street signs.

In order for the BPRD Urban Forestry Division to ensure the success of our new street trees we require that the property owner who directly abuts where the new tree is being requested to be planted be the one who makes the request for a new tree to be planted. Only requests made by the actual abutting property owner will be inspected for planting. Requests can be made via the 311 app, by calling 311 or by calling the Park Line at 617-635-7275. Thank you.
