On February 14, 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM, I was walking my dog in front of 111 Union St, Boston, MA 02135. A dog that appeared to be from the yard of either 111 Union St, Boston, MA 02135 or possibly 58 Winship St, Brighton, MA 02135 suddenly ran toward us from behind and bit my dog. The dog was not on a leash. Both my dog and I were extremely startled. My dog cried out loudly at the time of the incident. Since the attack, my dog has been behaving fearfully and appeared emotionally distressed even after returning home. However, I am reporting this incident because the aggressive behavior of this dog poses a serious safety concern to other pets and residents in the neighborhood. I was unable to take a photo of the dog. It appeared to be a small-sized dog with long fur and a grayish coat. The dog has previously barked aggressively whenever passing that property, and I have often felt threatened when walking by.
