There is a hole in the PIP next to the 2-5 play structure (it appears perfectly round as if a post was previously there but it is too close to the edge of the pathway to have been a play feature). The tennis court playing surface has a lot of cracks and top surface has deteriorated, please resurface the tennis courts at the park and fix the nets. Also if there could be line markings for 4 pickleball courts added after resurfacing just like the recent project completed at the John H tennis courts located at Reservation Rd & Brainard St, Boston, MA 02136. Constituent reports that the right side railing for the steps at the Adams and Winthrop St entrence to the square is unsteady. This rail poses a danger and is unstable for use. Park Inspection Program. PIP rubber needs several small repairs throughout, especially around the merry-go-round (Photos in Notes). Constituent reports last winter a tree from rogers park that borders the retaining wall at 470 Washington st fell and damaged the retaining wall. The parks dept removed the tree but the area is now overgrown with weeds.
