Illegal short term rental is continuing to happen at 68 ferrin street in Charlestown. Illegal parking taking residential parking spaces, loitering, cigarettes all over the sidewalk. Please assist in stopping the illegal short term rental. It is posted to Airbnb and there are currently short term renters in the house. Owner has never lived in the house.

An illegal single family airbnb just started at 68 ferrin street. Was recently bought, renovated and posted for sale. Did not sell and now is an Airbnb. Current owners have never lived there and the house was never permitted for the short term rental use. Many workers going in and out and excessive parking is being used. Needs to stop.

This is a hotel. Check out the people rotating in and out daily using lock boxes to 'check in' and park their out of state cars from Maine, Utah, Michigan, New Hampshire, Vermont and New Mexico parked in the driveway and the BACK YARD. Can ISD cite these owners with illegal short term rental, illegal YARD PARKING, Overflowing Garbage and litter all over the lot? This is an ongoing issue it looks like people report but nothing gets done, the cases are just left open or resolved without a finding. The city should be able to make some money on fining these people. I would think :-)

Illegal rooming house; 6+ occupants on 1st floor, family & extra people on 2nd floor & 5-6 adults in studio apartment on 3rd floor; possible people living in illegal & unsafe apartment in basement. 6+cars on street belonging to this house, Ubers that drop off people day & night, drug deals being done all day on the street in front of house and in front of neighbors houses, people moving in and out at all times of the month and day.

Residents at 19 Cowing Apt. 1 stated that the house is a short term rental/rooming house for people to come and go. Currently on the 1st floor lives over 6 people. Photos of some of the cars parked on street & the amount of trash from the units overflowing. Second floor has a large "family" 3rd floor studio apartment lives 4 or 5 Dominican males & basement has 1-2 people living illegally there. Over 6 cars are owned by the units and occupy many of the spots on the street. Landlord refuses to make contact for resolution with the neighbors - even after multiple residents attempts. Reports to police have been made & swat team & boston inspections services have been to the house several times for different reasons. The bald man in unit 1 is aggressive, rude, disrespectful, verbally abusive & assaulted a neighbor before. Cops have come to speak with him multiple times. He parks in an illegal driveway and parks on my lawn too, in order to make a path for the basement occupants to get into the backyard fence and into the illegal apartment in the basement.
