Car parked by tow zone sign since at least 8am this morning

Constituent requesting the street be repaved due to potholes. | Where exactly on the pavement is the pothole: [On Roadway]

There is a huge depression/sink hole (?) In front of 198 Mt Vernon St in West Roxbury (corner Mt Vernon & Grayfield). It measures 4 feet wide, 15 feet long, and about 6-8 inches deep at its deepest point. It seems to be quickly getting larger and deeper. This is not a normal pothole and seems to be a dangerous situation where cars could soon bottom out.

Const. reports that her AC unit is down in the whole building. She states her house temperature can get up to 87 degrees at night. Yard spilling into sidewalk on Co way Street. Entire section of sidewalk obstructed by yard (dirt, leaves, litter) that have taken over half of the sidewalk width. Eyesore and accessibility issue ongoing.

Around 8:00 a.m. on April 15, 2026, I was walking near the public bus stop at the intersection of L Street and East Broadway in South Boston when I saw a large utility/service truck turn from L Street onto East Broadway. As it turned, the truck struck a parked black Hyundai SUV, knocking the vehicle’s front bumper completely off and leaving it on the street in front of the car. The truck continued on and parked a short distance away, and the driver then walked into a nearby Starbucks. I do not believe the driver realized they had hit the parked car. I took several photos of the damaged Hyundai, the displaced bumper, and the truck, including the truck’s license plate number (X37910).
