    Our building has at least 5 units but we only have 2 recycling bins that are always overfull. I contacted my landlord last week to ask if we could get another one and I never heard back

    If you would like to request an additonal recycling cart, please call Boston 311 (617-635-4500). So you are aware, the policy of the Public Works Department (PWD) is one cart per each 3-family building. Additional carts can be requested if the cart at the location regularly becomes overfilled with materials, however, it is the determination of PWD if the request will be approved.
