Excessive Rat Burrows

Spotted a live rodent while dining in Effie's this afternoon. There were also droppings visible near windows. Please perform a sanitary inspection. I'm nauseous.

Rats! Photo is one along the side of a house. I've reported multiple rat sightings with little to no improvement. Is it because it is in Dorchester? This is a huge concern to community health, please take these reports seriously.

Pile of trash has been here for weeks now. Rats are running in and out of it. Trash bins have been overflowing and not brought to the curb regularly. Owner has been texted, no response. City has already cited him for overflowing trash bins, but a $25 fine is not going to make an impact. Mesut, the owner, rents one of the apartments as an illegal AirBnB. He doesn’t actually live here but lists this as his primary address. He is never here though. He owns the Lavash Retirement in Fresh Pond, and told me that he actually lives somewhere else.

Rodent activity (large rats) on a nightly basis at this property which houses an eatery. Trash, litter and/or debris at the rear of 347 Centre St. (Rizzo's pizza). They finally moved the uncovered trash barrel that was next to their side door (on the Westerly St side), all the way to the rear of their property next to the dividing fence with 3 Westerly St. They only did this because the barrel tipped over and there's trash all over their yard that fell out of the uncovered barrel. Couldn't be bothered to pick up their trash and now being blown everywhere by the high winds. There is daily, heavy rat activity near and in their barrels every night. They've had multiple restaurant sanitation violations so not sure how they have an A rating at the present time. Just the fact that they leave an open barrel right next to their rear door and employees and patrons throw trash in it would seem to be the basis for an in depth investigation. They never even bother to cover it. The fact of the matter is that they shouldn't even be throwing restaurant/commercial trash in those barrels and then taking it out as residential trash on collection days and then on top of that the # of sanitation violations. Please route to all appropriate departments. Thank you.
