Short Term Rental
2 family dwelling (all permits for recent renovation state so) is being rented as a rooming house. Company is called RooserUp and seems to skirt the laws by claiming they are on one lease but currently advertises per room rentals online. Please check if currently zoned for this as nobody in the neighborhood received any information or permits relating to a rooming house and/or lodging house

I would like to report an illegal short term rental at 123 LaGrange St, West Roxbury. The listing is on booking.com and has a constant turnover of short term guests. Here is the listing - https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/comfortable-loft-with-private-bathroom.html . I would like my name to be anonymous to the owner of the property. I have checked the short term rental eligibility site for Boston and this address was listed as not eligible.

Mr Billy Gu lives in Lexington according to his Boston property assessment, his AirBnB profile, and the very applications for an owner adjacent/limited share short term rental registrations he applied for. Why has he been allowed to renew his applications if he no longer qualifies? His 3 family home has 4 full units listed as rentals. There is no limited share. This is the same host as complaint #101005416985. STR-521905 This STR registration is being used for two separate full units so it should have two registrations. On its application it stated that it will NOT be a short term rental and instead will be used as a corporate rental with a minimum of a 10 day stay. This is not the case as there are two listings per unit and one is for 1 night minimum. There is a small note that in two listings of 4 that "This unit should be rented by individuals or family members on medical related travel." in the listing but that is NOT proof of a hospital contract. Can ISD please verify that a contract exists?
