Day #14 of no trash picked up. The city of Boston refuses to pick up our trash for over 20 apartments. Rats, rodents and vermon EVERYWHERE. KIDS LIVE HERE!!! The city need to act and clean up this mess. Disgraceful. TOW THE CAR BLOCKING - this is now 100% on the city to get a resolution here. REPORTED ORDINANCE AND LICENSING VIOLATIONS: Illegal parking; bus- and bicycle-lane obstruction; idling; excessive overnight noise; and suspected after-hours service. Additional concern: Inadequate sustained enforcement. Alex’s Pizza — 1252 Washington Street, Boston, MA November 1, 2026 — 3:32 a.m. EST, after the clock change (equivalent to 4:32 a.m. before clocks were turned back) At 3:32 a.m., I observed customers entering and exiting Alex’s Pizza, while others remained inside. Illegally parked vehicles also remained outside. Please investigate this continued activity for after-hours service and licensing violations. Police arrived around 3:07 a.m. and spent several minutes clearing several vehicles parked and idling in the bus and bicycle lanes. Picture attached. Loud music, vehicle noise, and police sirens woke me. Approximately 20 seconds—not minutes—after police left, several vehicles again parked in the lanes officers had just cleared. These recurring obstructions endanger cyclists, interfere with buses, and create traffic hazards. Overnight noise and idling repeatedly disrupt residents’ sleep and quality of life. Vehicles returning within seconds demonstrates that the current enforcement response is insufficient. Please forward this complaint to the Boston Licensing Board, Boston Police, Boston Transportation Department, MBTA, and appropriate noise and anti-idling enforcement authorities for coordinated investigation of these reported ordinance and licensing violations and sustained enforcement. Photographs are attached. Please provide a complaint number and written follow-up identifying corrective action. Please consider this written notice of these ongoing conditions and a formal request for corrective action. If these conditions continue without effective intervention, I will pursue available formal remedies.

1252 Washington Street, Boston — Alex’s Pizza October 31, 2026 | Photograph taken at 2:50 a.m. Subject: Recurring lane obstructions, after-hours operation, and inadequate enforcement. I am reporting a serious and recurring public safety issue involving customers of Alex’s Pizza. At approximately 2:50 a.m., I observed at least 17 illegally parked vehicles in front of and around the business, obstructing the bus lane, bike lane, and general travel lanes. Customers were entering and exiting Alex’s Pizza. The obstructions forced several passing vehicles across the double-yellow centerline into oncoming traffic, creating an immediate collision risk. The attached photograph documents the congestion and lane obstructions. This recurring conduct compromises safe passage for motorists, cyclists, buses, and emergency vehicles. Police arrived at approximately 2:52 a.m. but moved only a couple of vehicles. Several others remained illegally parked, and I did not observe officers directing those drivers to move. The response left substantial obstructions and associated hazards unresolved. I continued observing customers entering and leaving Alex’s Pizza until at least 3:46 a.m. My understanding of the business’s licensing conditions is that service must stop by 2:45 a.m. and the premises must close by 3:00 a.m. The activity observed warrants an investigation into compliance with those conditions. Please formally document this complaint and forward it to the Boston Licensing Board, Boston Transportation Department, Boston Police Department, and any other agencies with enforcement jurisdiction to investigate the apparent licensing, parking, traffic, and public safety violations. Please also review why responding officers left multiple illegally parked vehicles obstructing the roadway. These are recurring conditions, not an isolated incident. I request a written response identifying the agencies assigned, the complaint reference numbers, and the corrective and enforcement measures that will be taken. Photographs and videos documenting the lane obstructions, police response, and continued customer activity are available upon request. Please preserve relevant dispatch records, incident reports, and available recordings associated with the police response. This complaint provides further written notice of an ongoing, foreseeable safety hazard. I am maintaining a dated record of these incidents and the enforcement responses and am prepared to pursue formal administrative complaints and available legal remedies if these conditions continue without effective action.
