Excessive road construction noise near 25 Penniman Rd Road construction began at approximately 7:30 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, immediately adjacent to the residential buildings near 25 Penniman Rd, Boston, MA 02134. The noise has been extremely loud inside my residence. I recorded the construction activity on video and also made a continuous six-minute sound-level recording using a phone sound meter application. The application indicated an average sound level of approximately 100 dBA and a maximum of approximately 110 dBA during the recording. I understand that a consumer smartphone application is not a calibrated enforcement sound-level meter, so I am providing these measurements as supporting evidence rather than claiming them to be an official measurement. Given the extremely high indicated sound levels and the proximity of the work to residences, I am requesting that the City investigate the construction noise and verify whether the contractor and equipment comply with Boston’s applicable construction/roadwork noise regulations, including the applicable 86 dBA construction equipment limit. I have video and screen-recording evidence documenting the construction activity, time, duration, and measured sound levels.

Between 262 Prince street and 150 Prince street in Jamaica Plain ... in both sides of the roads are piles and piles of trash. People is also jumping the fence ro throw out more trash not just on the side of the street .. its sad this trash behavior of anyone who takes the times just to drive here to dispose their trash
