What is the nature of the problem: [Constituent states that building at 216 Wood Ave, Hyde Park is fully abandoned, and states animals like raccoons are living in the house. Constituent states the building is bringing in lots of pests/animals and its effecting their property/neighborhood]

There is recurring rat activity in the Clarendon/Appleton area, including past documented activity at 81 Appleton, 27 Appleton and the Appleton/Berkeley intersection. I am seeing rat activity around my property and the adjacent alley. Can you please conduct a coordinated inspection of the alley, tree pits, sidewalk/burrows, sewer catch basins and nearby trash storage rather than treating this as an isolated sighting. There has been a uprise in activity. In April we reported and the city services inspected and baited local sewers which lead to some visible improvements. We sited 6 rats on our walk home down Appleton at 8:30pm yesterday. One darted from our street level entry way. We do not store any trash in this area. Rat droppings on our walk way is a serious health concern. Thank you for your attention.
