Bike lane barriers still haven’t been replaced since the city’s snow plows destroyed them over the winter. The mayor said “no bike lanes have been removed,” but this is a clear lie to Allston-Brighton if there are no plans to replace the barriers here.

Please reinstall protective infrastructure on bike lanes to prevent illegal parking. Allowing cars to park like this one is dangerous to all road users, particularly in wet conditions like today. The city’s removal of protective infrastructure disregards the safety of the community.
