I’d like to report a nuisance noise in the South Street/Rosemary Street area of Jamaica Plain. The noise started about a week ago and we have noticed that the noise begins sometime around 9:30 and 10:30 PM every night and it turns off around 7:30 AM. It’s hard to pinpoint where the noise is coming from, but from this address, it appears to be coming from the south. It sounds like an air handler making a howling/drone noise, but there’s a continuous high-pitched squeal that accompanies it. Since the noise began, it has been incredibly distracting and it makes it very difficult to get to sleep without taking steps to mask the noise and having to do this every night is incredibly frustrating. Construction noise on weekend in between properties 119 and 123 Norwell St, Dorchester. Can you check if there is an off-hours permit?

Wind took out whatever was supporting the slow sign and it's close to falling off the pole, especially when the wind blows and the sign hits the pole.

Their is an illegal Airbnb operating at 12 Hinckley St Dorchester, as the owners do not reside there and the guests are routinely stay for only a couple of days at a time rather than the 10 day minimum that is supposed to be the rule in Boston. The neighborhood must routinely deal with issues with the guests parking across sidewalks, parties and noise. The owners have never attempted to engage the neighbors so we have not way to contact them to address them directly. With the shortage in housing this is an example of home that was taken off the market rather than available to multiple families. What can be done to address this issue?

Extremely loud generator outside state house. Heard power was restored early Thursday.
