The constituent states that he called the maintenance people from the property and stated to him that he cant go til tomorrow. The constituent stated this is an emergency that the water is getting worse and all over the floor in his apartment. Requesting assistance with this matter. CLOSED #101005468347Noted. No cause at time of inspection. There is no flood in the apartment. There was a leak in the hallway on Thursday thar carried into one of the laundry Room. The occupant was complaining about not being able to use the laundry room on his side however management has closed the that laundry room so that it can dry out completely. There is another laundry room on the other side of the building for the occupants to use.

Landlord informed tenant that the hot water would be out from about 10am-1pm, when she just contacted her landlord at 5pm asking for an update she was told it would be another 1-2hours until the hot water was back on. Constituent has a 3 year old and is 8 months pregnant. Needs hot water to clean dishes, cook food and bathe her child. The stairs are broken and there is construction debris all over the yard. Constituent is disabled and can not safely enter and exit the home. The stove was broken for months and was only just fixed because the tenant threatened to report him to her section 8 case worker. There was also a roach infestation. Spanish speaking constituent on call w/ an interpreter. Constituent states that the bathroom toilet is loose, not working/flushing properly. There's a bad odor throughout the entire apartment, causing diziness for his children and wife. The smoke alarm goes off every time they cook- and they have only been able to order takeout. Lease began on 5/1 and began reporting the issues to the realtor and landlord on May 6 the day the family moved in. Landlord advised that the issues would be fixed but no one has yet to come to the unit.
