Attended a great jazz concert as a first time visitor at the Mary Hannon playground on 7/22/23. Admired the new plantings and hard scraping, especially the elm trees. Some need deadwood pruned, as they recover from last year’s severe drought. Others are still girded by straps tied to stabilizing posts, likely from when they were planted. The straps are cutting into these trees, to the point where they will soon be killed off. I have much experience as a volunteer, beginning with the ginkgo trees on Tonawanda St Dorchester in 1979, and would be happy to resolve this problem, before these relatively new and otherwise sturdy trees are irretrievably damaged. Please let me know if I can help. | Is this a City owned tree situated on the sidewalk: [Yes] Park: [Hannon Playground]
