On 28 Atlantic AVE, right next to the parking pay machine, the sign that it is a resident parking area only after 6:00 needs to be identified. I got a parking violation ticked there because of the unclirified sign. I tried to appeal the ticket, but the parking clerk's office refused to dismiss my ticket. That made me feel like the city was robbing me. I do not care about the money I pay, but it does break the hearts of people who love this city. Please fix the sign ASAP.

Constituent wants to file a complaint aganst BTD. His car was towed over the weekend of July first. He went to Canada on friday and there wasn't a temporary/no parking sign posted on friday. His car was towed that Monday. He to the hearing to appeal the Ticket for $ 90 and they denied his request. The towing expense was $220. He would like the Mayor's office to help out with the expense because he wasn't around after the sign was put up to move his vehicle. This will be the 5th or 6th abandoned vehicle report over the last 2-3 months. This car has sat without moving for about 3-4 and has accumulated dozens of parking tickets and notices. Thus far, the city parking clerks office has not responded at all and replies to these 311 reports indicating how they patrol and ticket car. Given the number of reports, number of tickets, and the shear timeline of 3-4 months, the city parking clerks should be able to investigate this situation and take care of an abandoned vehicle. Please, we the neighbors are asking this be addressed. If there is someone else we should contact, please let me know and I will do that. Thank you for your time.

Illegal parking- vehicle parks overnight daily in no parking zone. Parking clerk/BPD needs to patrol late at night to ticket. New Hampshire plate Nissan Altima.

Numerous construction trucks blocking sidewalk and taking resident restricted parking spaces without city parking permits. This is an on-going issue on MOUNT VERNON STREET, CHARLESTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD. Please, I have reported these issues at least 12 + times as it is creating safety issues for the neighborhood. What else’s can be done to address these issues? Please, we are asking the City Parking Clerks Office to address these issues.

Contractors leaving trucks on sidewalk and blocking. Have reported at least 12-15 times and city parking clerks office has yet to address.

Trucks blocking sidewalk use, creating major safety issues. Multiple contractor vehicles taking resident restricted spaces. As the parking clerks office ignores safety issues with trucks blocking our sidewalks, clerks office ignores violations of resident restricted spaces, and takes NO ACTION of dozens of complaints from Charlestown resident, I am reporting this to our city Councilor and the Mayors office including all documented cases that have gone completely ignored for many, many weeks, review action. This would not be ignored and let go in Back Bay, or the Seaport, or the South End.

Multiple non resident vehicles parked in resident restricted spaces. Tractor taking resident spaces with no permit or authorization. Contractor blocking sidewalk and creating a safety situation. This is the 7th official report filed with the city parking clerks office. All completely ignored.

It would appear from the multiple reports filed with the city parking clerks office, Charlestown has lost it’s our parking clerk / officer. There is no parking enforcement being done in the Charlestown area for many, many weeks if not months. Scroll through the 311 reports along with the reports I have filed that go completely unanswered and ignored. This is creating many safety issues and major inconveniences for city residents not having permit parking / resident restricted parking available.
