Red truck repeatedly parked on the curb of narrow dead end street (outside 16 Arcola Street, Jamaica Plain). it is here or across the street in fire line at various hours of the day, multiple days a week, creating a real safety hazard.

Not only is this car parked against, my car, they’re parked over the white line at a red light on top of a cross walk….

Please upgrade the signals to give green line trains priority over traffic at the intersections! I drive right now and today as I made a series of protected left turns across Comm Ave (at Cummington Mall and then one block later at St Mary’s St), the same train had to wait with a red light at both intersections while I had the green to cross the tracks. I appreciate the protected left signals, but the train with tens of people on it should absolutely not have to wait at every intersection for 1-3 drivers to cross. It should not be faster for me to make two lefts across Comm Ave in my car than for the green line train to make it one block. The trains should get to go first!

Constituent states via Contact Form on 10/24: Hello, I just learned that the MBTA has scheduled a closure of the red line on Election Day. This seems like an unnecessary and avoidable barrier to vote for the people of Massachusetts. I will not be affected by this personally and so I do not need a personalized response, but I wanted to raise my concerns. While most people live near their voting site, there are plenty of people that do not know their rights regarding time-off or early voting. People will go to work in another neighborhood and then have a horrendous ride home on shuttle buses. Add in daycare, caring for elders, etc. … the extra time on the shuttles is a huge barrier.
