Graffiti Removal
1721 Washington St, Roxbury, Ma, 02118More graffiti on buildings in the South End, this time at 68 West Springfield St at corner of Washington. Ever since Mayor Wu welcomed drug dealers & addicts into our neighborhood, graffiti is increasing. Not a coincidence that being soft on crime leads to these “artists” defacing property. They know absolutely nothing will happen to them since no one is accountable anymore.
CLOSED #101006597991Case Noted. The graffiti tag at this location could not be removed by the City of Boston Property Management Department. The graffiti tag is on a privately owned mixed-use property. Graffiti removal is the responsibility of the property owner or managing entity. This case number has been closed and is noted.

195 Salem St, Boston, Ma, 02113March 31, 2026 Dear Mayor Wu: I am saddened to be walking near Salem and Prince street yesterday at 5:52 pm. after driving around to find parking for 20 minutes. I observed a construction permit between 7 am and 4 pm but the Salem construction person decided to block the road anyway after 4 pm. Having pubic parking available is a necessity and people who use public parking for personal private use should be documented and fined like others who get tickets and are fined because people like this are stealing public spaces. This is the essence of the problem along with conflicting parking signs. Who put up parking by permit along with 2 hour parking on the same sign post? The bakery or the government. I already reported this months ago. The issue yesterday and today is compounded by Eversource taking up many parking spaces with no permit notice and taking additional parking spaces. This gas problem on Prince Street has been going on for years. My time is valuable and having to deal with such emails a<truncated>

Pothole
2 Oxford St, Boston, Ma, 02111Public works is currently at the top of Oxford St. That intersects Essex St filling in potholes which is very much needed! However, the problem is,they didn't block off the street ahead of time. So cars are driving down the street and getting stuck behind the public works truck while they are trying to fill in the pot holes. There are also parked cars on the street. I don't understand why they didn't block off the street ahead of time to do this? What good is it going to do if a car drives over the freshly filled pot hole and drives over hot tar? Also, the side walks on the street are in need of desperate repair as well and are collapsing into the street. The public works employees are also fighting with people who are getting out of their cars and trying to get by! It's a disaster!

Abandoned Vehicle
14 Brahms St, Roslindale, Ma, 02131I believe this vehicle is abandoned/used for storage on the street. Several home owners have complained about this vehicle. Now it is parked at another residence on the street, BLOCKING THE ACTUAL HOMEOWNER FROM PARKING. This vehicle usually sits for weeks at a time, and on the rare occasions when it moves, AN ILLEGAL SPACE SAVER IS USED. Given the number of tickets issued to PROPERTY owners on the street for space savers, how do homeowners respond to a person that doesn’t even live at the address but putting space savers out? What do home owners do once they have shovelled their sidewalks, only to find someone that doesn't live at the home, shovelling snow back on the sidewalk? Tensions are beginning to grow on our street and you all need to begin speaking to the actual HOME OWNERS/Property tax payers…vs people looking to take advantage of the system. I do not believe this illegally parked vehicle is registered in Boston but has been on our street for a year. I was unable to capture the RODENTS I saw coming out of it. The city has to do something about this. I will submit daily tickets until this is addressed. Our parking is already limited due to a house on the street that rents rooms to individuals; there are at least 5 to 6 additional cars on our street daily because of this rooming house; I would think that parking would need to be available at that house for the tenants; we already have a number of oversubscribed multi-tenant homes on Washington and the complex at blue ledge. If you run/rent a multi-room/level home, should not parking on the property be made available at the property? THIS VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY and BANNED from being on this street again. If it is a home owner or renter, then they need to put it at THEIR home, not blocking the limited parking we have.
